Similar to the video for the live version of the same song, this updated video features some new footage and is set to the official album track. *Every line in this song is a reference to a specific place/encounter in Europe from September-December of 2006. Each video clip that you see corresponds directly to the line being sung…..all but two, that is.
After his CD release show in Virginia on August 25th, in the midst of traffic that had come to a dead stop on the D.C. beltway, Kevin and his band of musical mercenaries pulled their cars off to the shoulder lane and set up shop right there on the side of the highway. With guitar, harmonica, drums, and dulcimer in hand, they treated the stranded and slow- moving passersby to a rousing rendition of “Viva la Vida.”
It is this very spirit of spontaneity and creativity that inspired The Salzburg Revolution.
